Killerton House Collaboration Project
These are all items from a handling collection within Killerton house that we visited for a new collaboration project this term. If we are lucky enough for our garments to be picked they will feature alongside this pre-warn original garments.
---- A 1920's child's jacket. Which is so delicate and had to be handled by a Killerton House member who worn protective gloves.
----This is a petty coat that has stayed out of direct sun light and been kept from damage. This has ment that the original coloured threads and stitching has been preserved much better than the image on the right which has had a lot of wear and sunlight damage. ----
----Vibrant colours of red greens and pinks which have been un-damaged and still haver the original pleating and frilling which was made in the 1700's.
